<p>The present invention provides a method for the drying of microfibrillated cellulose wherein a liquid suspension of cellulose fibres and a liquid carbon dioxide miscible liquid is formed and the liquid suspension is defibrillated. The liquid carbon dioxide miscible liquid is replaced by liquid carbon dioxide under pressure, and the carbon dioxide is removed by evaporation. A device for use therefore is also described.</p> |
