TERBIUM DOPED PHOSPHATE-BASED GREEN LUMINESCENT MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

Terbium doped phosphate-based green luminescent material and preparation method thereof are provided. The chemical formula of the material is M3RE1-XTbX(PO4)3, wherein, M is alkaline-earth metals, RE is rare-earth elements, X is 0.001-1. The preparation method of the material includes the following steps: weighing the source compounds of alkaline-earth metal ions, phosphate radical ions (PO4 3+), rare-earth metal ions and Tb3 + based on the molar ratios of the elements in the chemical formula of M3RE1-XTbX(PO4)3, wherein,the source compound of (PO4)3+ is over 10-30% by molar ratio; grinding and mixing all the source compounds uniformly; pretreating the obtained mixture by sintering, and then cooling; taking out the sinter and grinding, then calcining the product having been grinded in a reducing atmosphere, cooling and obtaining the terbium doped phosphate-based green luminescent material. This material has short afterglow time, high luminescent intensity and broad application prospect.
