PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a peak of a charging current, when multiple storage batteries are charged, using a single power supply source in the same time zone. SOLUTION: A controller 22 receives a supply of commercial power from a charging station 10 to autonomously control the charging of a storage battery 21. The controller 22 includes a battery capacity detection section 221, that detects each remaining capacity of the storage battery 21, a charging current decision section 223 that decides the charging current of the storage battery 21, by referring to the remaining capacity. A charging control section 221 that controls the charging of the storage battery 21. The charge control section 221 starts charging the storage battery 21, when the time zone of a nighttime electric power charge is started, and the charging current deciding section 223 decides on the current value, such that charging the storage battery 21 is started, when the time zone of the nighttime electric power charge is started and the charging in effect is finished, when the time zone is finished.
