PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer controller having a high processing speed, simultaneously processing a plurality of processes in parallel, and highly reliably performing the parallel processing. SOLUTION: The printer controller includes a plurality of MPU (Micro Processing Unit) cores 101-104, and an FIFO (First In First Out) buffer type communication means assigning a first process of performing a receiving processing program AP1, a second process of performing a data analyzing processing program AP2, a third process of performing an image drawing processing program AP3, and a fourth process of performing a video signal transmitting processing program AP4, to the MPU cores 101-104, respectively, and transmitting information among the respective processes. Processing results of the respective processes in the MPU cores 101-104 are transmitted to the FIFO buffer type communication means to perform the respective processes in parallel simultaneously.
