PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and qualitatively analyze a plurality of volatile organic compounds. SOLUTION: A detection solution 101, made of an aqueous solution where a Schiff's reagent and acid are dissolved in air to be measured, is exposed, then; the absorbance of the detection solution 101 stored in a vessel 102 is measured; and the volatile organic compounds are qualitatively analyzed by spectra of the determined absorbance. The spectrum of the absorbance has a feature specific to the volatile organic compounds, and thus can qualitatively analyze the volatile organic compounds. For example, a known spectrum acquired by exposing the detection solution 101 to the known volatile organic compounds should be compared with the measured spectrum. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
