Provided is an information recording device with which it is possible to safely conceal secret data from unauthorized reproduction and to prevent the unauthorized use of recorded data. The information recording device includes: a recording-position selecting means that selects a position on an information recording medium in which a specific block is to be recorded; an error-data generating means that generates error data which disables the error correction of the specific block; an embedding-position selecting means that selects an error-data embedding position in which the error data generated by the error-data generating means is to be embedded and that selects a secret-data embedding position in which secret data to be concealed in the specific block is to be embedded; and a recording means that embeds the error data and the secret data in the specific block on the basis of the error-data embedding position and the secret-data embedding position, and that records the specific block, which has the error data and the secret data embedded therein, in the position on the information recording medium that has been selected by the recording-position selecting means.
