<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system for reducing switching loss and noise and improving conversion efficiency by controlling an input/output voltage of a DC-DC converter to a low level. <P>SOLUTION: In the power supply system for discharge for supplying power from a group of power storage cells constituted of power storage cells connected in series, only partial charge storage cells are connected to an input terminal of the DC-DC converter to control an input/output voltage of the converter, and a balancing circuit is connected to the group of charge storage cells, thus eliminating variations in a charge storage cell voltage owing to a difference in a discharge speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
