<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid drive apparatus that can simplify a control at a time of changing a mode. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid drive apparatus H includes an input member I drive-coupled to an engine E, a first rotary electrical machine MG1, a second rotary electrical machine MG2, an output member O drive-coupled to wheels and the second rotary electrical machine MG2, and first and second differential gear units D1 and D2 having three rotating elements, respectively. The input member I is drive-coupled to first and second carriers CA1 and CA2, the output member O is drive-coupled to a second ring gear R2, and the first rotary electrical machine MG1 is drive-coupled to a first sun gear S1. The hybrid drive apparatus H further includes a rotation restriction device F2 for restricting so as to selectively stop a rotation of the first ring gear R1, and a first rotating direction restriction device F1 for restricting to allow the first sun gear S1 to rotate only in a positive direction in relation to the second sun gear S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
