摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor material in a scintillator for a radiation detector, having a high emission intensity, and also having a small afterglow after passing 1 to 300 ms after stopping X-ray irradiation. <P>SOLUTION: This phosphor material expressed by the formula: (Gd<SB>1-x-y-z</SB>Lu<SB>x</SB>RE<SB>y</SB>Ce<SB>z</SB>)<SB>3+a</SB>(Al<SB>1-u-s</SB>Ga<SB>u</SB>Sc<SB>s</SB>)<SB>5-a</SB>O<SB>12</SB>, is provided by using Ce as light-emitting element, containing at least Gd, Al, Ga, O, Fe, Si and RE, wherein RE is at least 1 kind of Pr, Dy and Er, and M is at least 1 kind of Mg, Ti and Ni. Here, 0≤a≤0.15, 0≤x≤0.5, 0<y≤0.003, 0.0003≤z≤0.0167, 0.2≤u≤0.6, 0≤s≤0.1, the unit mass is 100 mass%, and the contents (mass ppm) of Fe, Si and M are 0.05≤Fe content≤1.0, 0.5≤Si content≤10 and 0≤M content≤50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
