PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element having high efficiency of photoelectric conversion and durability, a solar cell using the same, and an optical sensor array.

SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element includes a cathode, an anode and a photoelectric conversion layer wherein a p-type semiconductor material and an n-type semiconductor material are mixed. The organic photoelectric conversion element also contains a dye.
