PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus, along with an image recording method, wherein high-speed image recording can be achieved without using a large-capacity power supply part. SOLUTION: The image recording apparatus estimates a first electric power and a second electric power, wherein the first electric power is to be consumed in recording the maximum density part of an image, and the second electric power is to be consumed in recording the whole image.
