PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inverter module which reduces the strains that are generated in radiation fins, when a switching element substrate is fixed to a base plate. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the inverter module 1 includes an unevenness-forming process of forming at least three linear recesses 40 arranged on a first plane of the base plate 2, in parallel with one another, and at least two projections 43 provided between two adjacent linear recesses 40; a fin forming process of forming radiation fins 8 on the projections 43, respectively; and a substrate bonding process of arranging switching element substrates 3 on second planes 2A with bonding members 10 interposed, in a state where the base plate 2 is supported from the side of the first plane, with a support jig 60 having support portions 61, abutting against respective bottom surfaces of at least the three linear recesses 40, while avoiding the radiation fins 8, and pressing the switching element substrates 3 against the base plate 2 and to make them bond to the base plate 2.
