PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizer capable of atomizing water immediately. SOLUTION: A dew condenser 89 connected thermally to the heat absorption side of a Peltier element 86 is attached to the surface of a long water-absorbing electrode 88. Moisture is dew-condensed on the dew condenser 89 by electrifying the Peltier element 86. Moisture dew-condensed on the dew condenser 89 is collected and poured onto the surface of the water-absorbing electrode 88. The poured moisture can be atomized immediately from the surface of the water-absorbing electrode 88 without sucking moisture from the base to the tip of the water-absorbing electrode 88.
