PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot sequence assignment method by which an interference suppression effect is obtained by synthesizing received pilot blocks when a sequence such as a CAZAC sequence is used as a pilot sequence. SOLUTION: In this invention, 2K pilot sequences are divided into K sets such as ä[C_1, C_2], [C_3, C_4],..., [C_(2K-1), C_2k]}, and one set of the pilot sequence is assigned to the respective cells #1-#K. For example, the pilot sequence äC_1, C_2} is assigned to the pilot blocks (SB#1, #2) of the cell #1, the pilot sequence äC_3, C_4} is assigned to the pilot blocks (SB#1, #2) of the cell #2, the pilot sequence äC_5, C_6} is assigned to the pilot blocks (SB#1, #2) of the cell #3 and the pilot sequence äC_7, C_8} is assigned to the pilot blocks (SB#1, #2) of the cell #4.
