PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice processor, controlling the timing of starting to reproduce voice with resolving power finer than a frame. SOLUTION: A count circuit 10 counts a lapse of standby time specified in a sub-frame unit finer than one frame based on a unit pulse. The unit pulse regulates the period of the sub-frame and synchronizes with the display period of one frame in an image display device. When a command read from an execution slot 5 is a standby command, a command analysis circuit 6 suspends analysis on a command after the standby command stored in the execution slot 5 until the time counted by the count circuit 10 reaches the standby time, and furthermore restarts analysis on a subsequent command after reaching the standby time.
