The system has mobile radio base stations (14a, 14b) such as authorities and organizations with safety objects, i.e. Terrestrial trunked radiobase stations, connected to a core network (18) by standard connections (16a, 16b) e.g. radio links or wire-bound connections, so that data exchange is made under normal conditions by the connections. The stations comprise satellite reception devices (20a, 20b). Redundant emergency reception of data from the network takes place by the reception devices during failure of the connections to the core network. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring a warning message to a mobile radio user in case of an emergency.
