The gas cap (1) has a transparent window (2) provided with signature (3). The signature is more viewable during behind shining by a source of light (4). A screen printing film (5) is covered in the region of the transparent window. The refueling is determined according to the detection of action or situation under unlocking of gas cap or tank lid from driver's seat. An independent claim is included for method for identifying level of fuel in tank.
