PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a probability variable game in a slot machine, and to utilize intrinsic characteristics of the slot machine in executing the game. SOLUTION: The slot machine has a winning symbol combination lottery means 61 for executing a lottery for winning symbol combinations by using winning symbol combination lottery tables 62. The winning symbol combination lottery tables 62 include a winning symbol combination lottery table 62A and a winning symbol combination lottery table 62C or 62D in which the probability of winning a special combination is set higher than in the winning symbol combination lottery table 62A. As special combinations to be selected by using the winning symbol combination lottery table 62A, an RB combination and a 1BB combination composed of different symbol combinations from each other are included. When the RB combination is won and the game is shifted to an RB game, the game is controlled to be shifted to a game using the winning symbol combination table 62A (a regular-probability and non-RT game) after termination of the special game. When the 1BB combination is won and the game is shifted to a 1BB game, the game is controlled to be shifted to a game using the winning symbol combination lottery table 62C or 62D (a high-probability and non-RT game, or a high-probability and RT game) after termination of the special game.
