<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput of data in multi-hop communication systems. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system, transmission power control method and base station relates to a wireless communication system and related methods and apparatuses for transmitting a signal from a source apparatus to a destination apparatus, via at least one intermediate apparatus.
