<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe and primer exactly, rapidly and conveniently distinguishing Clostridium beijerinckii and its related species. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed the use of a probe or primer for detecting Clostridium beijerinckii and its related species, wherein the probe or primer comprises a polynucleotide having at least 10 bases that can hybridize to a polynucleotide represented by a specific base sequence or its complementary sequence using environmental samples such as: liquors such as beer, sparkling liquor and wine; soft drink such as lemon soda and soda water; and environmental samples such as water collected as a raw material, as an object and as a sample for PCR method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
