PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material composition having not only low anomalous dispersion, which is not expected before, but also transparency, and to provide an optical element such as an optical lens comprising the composition. SOLUTION: The material composition includes 0.5 to 20 mass% phosphorus-doped tin oxide particles (A) and 80 to 99 mass% an organic compound (B) having at least one polymerizable functional group in one molecule.
