<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting unit and an illumination device of higher productivity, by comparatively readily changing the white-based light emitted from a light-emitting device into the light of a different correlated color temperature, while using a common light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting unit 10 includes a light-emitting device 4 provided with an LED chip 1 serving as a semiconductor light-emitting element that is the device emitting a white-based light; and a mounting substrate 5 on which the light-emitting device 4 is mounted. The light-emitting unit further includes a wavelength conversion part 6, which is separately formed so as to cover at least a light-emitting portion 4aa of the light-emitting device 4 emitting the white-based light, with the wavelength converting part emitting a light having a correlated color temperature that is lower than that of the white-based light from the light-emitting device 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
