<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection display device capable of achieving smooth and effective cooling of a projection lens unit. <P>SOLUTION: A projector includes an optical engine 20 which modulates light on the basis of a video signal, a projection lens unit 30 which includes a resin lens and projects the light modulated by the optical engine 20. A projection port 121 through which light from the projection lens unit 30 passes is formed in a body cabinet 10. An air inlet 111 is formed below the projection port 121 of the body cabinet 10. Furthermore, the projector has an exhaust path EW and a first ventilation fan 801 which draw in air from the air inlet 111 and allow the drawn-in air to flow along the projection lens unit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
