<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform localization correction of a sound source and to demonstrate excellent acoustic feeling characteristics even though a level difference and a delay phase difference occur between a right side sound source signal and a left side sound source signal in a stereo sound source. <P>SOLUTION: In this stereo signal localization correction device 1, a peak detecting means 3 determines the higher numerical values between the values of the maximum values and the absolute values of the minimum values in filter coefficients Lw and Rw determined by a Normalized LWS algorithm as level correction values Lm and Rm, respectively, and a level correcting means 4 performs level correction of the left side sound source signal Li, corresponding to the signal level of a right side sound source signal Ri when the value Rm is larger than the value Lm, and performs level correction of the right side sound source signal Ri, corresponding to the signal level of the left side sound source signal Li when the value Lm is larger than the value Rm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
