<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that connects to a communication line for voice communication or video telephone communication, even from an external communication device that is not previously registered. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a communication unit; a mail receiving unit; an imaging unit; a voice input/output unit; a mail analyzer that analyzes electronic mail received by the mail receiving unit so as to determine whether a predetermined password and character string are included therein; and a transmission control unit that controls the communication unit so that a request for connection to the video telephone line is made to a communication destination indicated in the received electronic mail or a predetermined communication destination if the predetermined character string and password are included therein. The transmission control unit controls the communication unit so that a request for connection to the communication line is made by determining whether the communication destination associated with a transmitter address of the electronic mail is correct based on the address book information if the predetermined character string and password are included in the received electronic mail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
