<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management device, which can temporarily register an electronic apparatus with its power managed by some device, in the other device, the electronic device, and a method of registering the electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This power management device includes a management apparatus register, which certifies an electronic apparatus connected to a power network and registers the apparatus that succeeded in certification as a management apparatus, and a control unit, which controls the operation of the management apparatus and the power supply to the management apparatus. The management apparatus register acquires a digital signature, which is given to identification information peculiar to the electronic apparatus by the other power management device and the identification information peculiar to the power management device, from the electronic apparatus, when the electronic apparatus registered in the other power management device is connected to the power network. In a case that the verification of the digital signature given by the other power management device is succeeded, the electronic apparatus registered in the other power management device is temporarily registered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
