PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multifunctional electronic advertisement at low data communication costs regardless of the amount of data by using flat-rate Internet access.

SOLUTION: The electronic advertisement distribution system includes a central electronic advertisement distribution station for retaining and distributing electronic advertisement data, an electronic advertisement terminal station having a video display for receiving advertisement from the central electronic advertisement distribution station and displaying the advertisement, and a function to communicate with an Internet line that charges at flat rate to connect the central electronic advertisement distribution station and the electronic advertisement terminal station together. The central electronic advertisement distribution station uses an email via the flat-rate Internet line to send an instruction to download new electronic advertisement data to the electronic advertisement terminal station. The electronic advertisement terminal station connects to the central electronic advertisement distribution station via the flat-rate Internet line and downloads new electronic advertisement data from the central electronic advertisement distribution station. The electronic advertisement terminal station displays the downloaded electronic advertisement data on the video display.
