<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and certainly assessing lymph node metastasis of cancer or the risk thereof, and means for the method. <P>SOLUTION: There are specifically provided the method and rapid assessment kit for assessing lymph node metastasis of cancer, or the risk thereof, by identifying specific gene polymorphism of human C-reactive protein genes.
