METHOD, DEVICE AND PROGRAM FOR DECIDING BEHAVIORAL SITUATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide a weekday/holiday with high accuracy by reducing influence of a change of a behavioral pattern of a user even when the behavioral pattern of the user variously changes in each time zone.

SOLUTION: A weekday/holiday decision processing apparatus PS reads map information wherein position data are mapped in each time section from a database server DSV, divides the map information into a plurality of areas in a mesh state, and calculates a distribution of a stay probability density of the user to each divided area of each time section based on the area-divided map information. The weekday/holiday decision processing apparatus PS also calculates a weight to the probability density in each divided area in each time section based on information representing the calculated probability density distribution. The weekday/holiday decision processing apparatus PS decides whether a day is the weekday or the holiday by use of the calculated probability density distribution and the weight to the position data collected in the day that is a decision target of the weekday/holiday.
