PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenience electronic apparatus which is operated while a plurality of apparatuses are mounted on the electronic apparatus, and a control method thereof. SOLUTION: A power supply controller 1000 includes a body 100 and a remote controller 200 attachable and detachable to/from the body 100. The body 100 supplies power to the remote controller 200, and the body 100 and the remote controller 200 perform communication for controlling the body 100 by the remote controller 200. The power supply controller 1000 further includes: an LED 8 which is provided on the body 100 and displays information related to the operation of the body 100; and an LED 18 which is provided on the remote controller 200 and displays the information displayed by the LED 8 according to at least one of the fact that the remote controller 200 is mounted on the body 100, the fact that the body 100 has supplied the power to the remote controller and the fact that the body 100 and the remote controller 200 have performed the communication.
