HEAT DISSIPATION DEVICE FOR HIGH POWER VERTICAL AXIS WIND GENERATOR

A heat dissipation device for a high power vertical axis wind generator. A stator portion and a rotor portion in the shape of plane disks are axially arranged in a space surrounded by a center shaft (1) and end caps (6) of the wind generator. A through wind tunnel (5) is disposed in a flat gap in the end caps. At least one exhaust fan (9) is disposed in the wind tunnel. Many vents (10) are arranged through the armature (7) of the stator portion, and many vents (11) are also arranged through the permanent magnets (8) of the rotor portion. The heat dissipation device has a good heat dissipation effect, therefore the critical temperature in the internal of the wind generator is reduced, a local overheating phenomenon is avoided, and a development toward high power of the vertical axis wind generator is favored.
