The method involves arranging a distance piece (118) of hard, fluid-tight material in a gap (117) between two parts (101,102) of a basin (100) and on the latter part of the basin. An end section of plastic foil (119) is arranged in the gap between the former part of the basin and the distance piece. A force-fit, fluid tight connection is produced between the former part of the basin and the distance piece in the gap.
