The lock (1) has a storage lever (5) and a lock opening assistance in form of an electric motor (7) and assigned a drive wheel (8). A rotary latch (3) is provided with pre-engaging teeth and/or main ratchet tooth on a rotary latch surface and/or rotary latch edge contour. A stop buffer is assigned to a pawl (4), and compressably formed and free from movement or excavation of the pawl limiting dimensions. The stop buffer has a size/dimension, which is limiting the moving strength of the pawl during the excavation. The buffer consists of foam rubber and/or has a hollow buffer area.
