Piste maintenance vehicle

The vehicle (10) has a safety system (30) with sensor devices (32, 34a, 34b) e.g. infrared sensor device, laser sensor device and radar device, for detecting persons (40-46) and/or bottom contours in surrounding of the vehicle. The safety system deactivates a chain drive (12) and/or a mounting assembly (14) and outputs an optical or acoustic warning signal when an endangered person is detected, where the signal is detected by the endangered person. The safety system displays the detected bottom contours and/or the detected persons on a monitor in a driver position of the vehicle.
