The present invention relates to railway engineering and can be used in the design of axle box bearing assembly of cargo or passenger cars. An axle box bearing assembly comprises a twin cylindrical roller bearing set in the axle box with integrated seals and grease lubricant consisting of fixed double-board outer rings, each of which has a groove on the inner surface of outer board, internal rotating rings, each with one external board, cylindrical rollers, a separator, seals pressed into the grooves on the inner surface of the outer board of outer rings. According to the invention, the seals are replaceable and are selected from the group consisting of non-contact slot rings, non-contact labyrinth seals and contact cartridge multi-edge seals. In the grooves on the inner surface of the outer board of outer rings retaining grooves are made, on the surface of raceways of each inner ring a fixing groove is made. The inner rings are interconnected by means of a mounting ring installed in the fixing grooves. The invention provides for universality of the bearing assembly, adapting axle bearing assembly to the required operating conditions and specified overhaul interval, increases the reliability of edge connection of bearings on the axis of the car trolley. |
