PURPOSE: A backlight unit and display device equipped with the same are provided to increase manufacturing efficiency and to reduce the thickness of a display device. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light sources is fixed inside a bottom cover and is arranged in a substrate. A light incoming unit(15b) includes an incident surface which is incident from a plurality of light sources to a first direction. A light guide plate(15) includes a light emitting unit which is connected with a light incoming unit.
