PURPOSE: A single core optical fiber block and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve production yield and to reduce manufacturing costs and to control the increasing of costs and process in order to secure exactitude of inside of a capillary. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber(201) is equipped at the center of the upper side of cleaned glass substrates and is laminated. A secondary optical fiber(202) is laminate with the optical fiber. A glass cover is equipped at the upper side of the optical fiber in order to point-contact. UV epoxy(401) is added between a top glass substrate and a lower glass substrate. The upper part or flank part of a block illuminate ultraviolet ray. The block is polished.
