A numerical ability improvement apparatus for improving and or maintaining the numerical ability of a subject. The apparatus comprises means 1 for delivering an electric current to the brain of a subject, wherein, in use, the apparatus is adapted to deliver an electric current to the subject's brain, thereby modulating brain activity and improving and/or maintaining the subject's numerical ability. The apparatus may comprise means 1 of delivering transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to the brain. The apparatus may comprise numerical learning or training material. |
