The cooling- or freezing device has a compartment (40) to be cooled and an evaporator (60) for direct or indirect cooling of the compartment. The evaporator is performed as not foamed-insulating evaporator. A temperature sensor (70) is provided for detecting a characteristic temperature for the evaporator. The temperature sensor is foamed partially or completely. An independent claim is also included for a method for repairing a temperature sensor of a cooling- or freezing device.
