PHC PILE USING DOWEL BAR AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREWITH

PURPOSE: A PHC pile using a dowel bar and a construction method thereof are provided to improve horizontal strength, ductility, and energy absorbing properties by connecting the PHC pile to head reinforcing concrete. CONSTITUTION: A PHC pile using a dowel bar comprises dowel bars(150) and vertical reinforcing bars(160). The dowel bars pass through sludge formed on the inner surface of the hollow part(S) of the pile and are extended from one inner side of the pile to the other inner side. The vertical reinforcing bars are buried in head reinforcing concrete(130) and are upward protruded from the top end of the pile by pretension.
