The stone has a covering layer (24) including a drainage layer (22) made of porous asphalt, and a paving stone body including two paving stone longitudinal sides that lie opposite to each other. A paving stone lower side is located on a paving stone upper side and a subsurface, and upper surface elements are projected opposite to each other and assigned to the paving stone upper side. A recess is formed between the upper surface elements for receiving and/or draining upper surface water along a direction at an angle with respect to the paving stone longitudinal sides.
