The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to the design of metal mold for centrifugal casting profiled shafts. A metal mold for centrifugal casting profiled shafts comprises a detachable iron ring, which is supplemented from the ends with one-piece rings with tapered bores covering the relevant tapered lugs on the detachable ring. In the detachable ring perpendicularly to a joint face holes are made, in which within the cylindrical surface of the mold cross-threaded ties are located. In the detachable and one-piece rings, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft coaxial holes are made, in which longitudinal threaded ties are located connecting the detachable and one-piece rings between them, in the one-piece rings on the areas outside of the full length of cast shaft barrel on the inner surface inserts are made and on the outer surface annular ledges are made. The holes in the detachable and one-piece rings are made by inserted tubes. The invention provides reduction of dimensions and unbalance of mold at its filling with liquid metal, increasing the technical and economic indices of profiled shafts made using metal mold. |
