Melanocortin receptor antagonist compounds, processes for preparing them and uses thereof in human medicine and cosmetics are described. Melanocortin receptor antagonist compounds corresponding to the general formula (I): compositions containing them, and processes for their preparation and their use in pharmaceutical or cosmetic compositions are also described.
