METHOD FOR ISOLATION OF STEM CELLS FROM PERIPHERAL BLOOD FOR CLINICAL APPLICATION

A method for the isolation of the stem cells from peripheral blood for clinical application comprises sedimentation of erythrocytes and 3-5-fold leukapheresis of the blood. To leukapheresis fluid, gelofusin is added for sedimentation. After centrifugation, the supernatant is discarded. The pellet of nucleated cells is resuspended in the autologic serum of the patient.
