FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of in vitro detection of infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in mammals and to methods of in vitro differentiation of a Mycobacterium tuberculosis infected mammal suffering a latent form of tuberculosis, and a mammal suffering an active form of tuberculosis, and to a method of differentiation of a mammal suffering the active form of tuberculosis and a mammal non-infected by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, or a mammal who has the latent form of tuberculosis.
