Method for quantitative determination of ascorbic acid in syrup according to which one placed into a flask acetate buffer solution, syrup, excess of solution of sodium 2.6-dihydrophenolindophenolate, purified water. The mix is brought to dividing cone, with additional of xylol, with extraction and leaving till complete separation of phases. Optical density of the colored solution of xylol is determined with spectral photometry. Volume of solution of sodium 2.6-dihydrophenolindophenolate is calculated by means of calibration graph and with calculation of ascorbic acid. |
