FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to dentistry, and can be used for estimation of colour characteristic of oral cavity mucosa (OCM) in carrying out oral cavity examination. Scale contains 10 standard samples of colour, characterised by lightness (L) and colour saturation (C), in accordance with International scale of colour estimation in system CIELab. Pale-pink (N1), having L 84, C 1, pale-pink (N2), having L 83, C 4, pink (N3), having L 64, C 14, and pink (N4), having L 58, C 19, correspond to the norm. Atrophic or pale (A), having L 81, C 12, correspond to atrophy. Slightly hyperemic (VI), having L 95, C 0, hyperemic (V2), having L 93, C 1, brightly hyperemic (V3), having L 88, C 2, stagnantly hyperemic (V4), having L 85, C 2, and bluish (V5), having L 79, C 3, correspond to inflammation.
