Packet gripper for a palletising device and method for palletising packets

The gripper (1) has a frame (6), and a finger (22) that is supported at the frame and movable between two positions. A plunger (25) is provided for clamping a packet lying at a stop (42), where a distance between the stop and a front end of the finger is changeable for adaptation to different lengths of the packet. The stop is adjustable and/or the length of the finger and/or of the plunger is adjustable for changing the distance. The stop has a stop unit (30) that comprises a recess and two stop edges (31) that are arranged at a distance from each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for palletizing of packets from printed or non-printed products.
