PATTERNING METHOD OF TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF CELLS USING ION IMPLANTATION

PURPOSE: A method for patterning two different kinds of cells using ion beam is provided to form a polymer pattern for preventing biomolecule adsorption. CONSTITUTION: A method for patterning two different kinds of cells using ion beam comprises: a step of applying a polymer solution for preventing biomolecule adsorption on a substrate to form a polymer film; a step of performing mask treatment of a non-crosslinking part of the film and irradiating ion beam; a step of removing the non-crosslinking part with a solvent to form a polymer pattern; a step of culturing cells on the substrate having the polymer pattern for form a first cell pattern; and a step of culturing other cells on the substrate for forming a second cell pattern. The polymer for biomolecule absorption is polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycol, poly(ethylene oxide-co-propylene oxide-co-ethylene oxide), triblock copolymer, or polydimethylsiloxane.
