PURPOSE: A submerged water purifying apparatus is provided to prevent the introduction of large sized foreign materials into an impeller by circulating and decomposing foreign materials on the bottom side thereof. CONSTITUTION: A submerged water purifying apparatus(1) is composed of a base(10) and a water current generating part(20). The base is submerged in water and one or more circulating holes(11) are formed on the body of the base. The water current generating part is installed at respective circulating hole of the base. The water current generating part receives the torque of a circulating motor to rotate an impeller to compulsively form a water current. A filtering part(30) is installed at the external side of the circulating holes to filter foreign materials contained in the water.
